As a finals study break, my family and I went to Soldier’s Pass trailhead in Sedona. It was about two hours away and we saw the most breathtaking views. This was definitely one of my favorite hikes in Sedona so far. It featured three major landmarks: Devil’s Kitchen Sinkhole, 7 sacred pools, and the caves at the end.
The only major disadvantage was how limited the parking was. We had to park about a mile away since all the surrounding areas were residential.
I loved how this particular trail had different landmarks along the way to make the hiking more exciting. I go back to Sedona each year and we pick a different trail each time. This one definitely tops my list.
The views from the cave were breathtaking and reminded me of the views at Antelope Canyon.
