This summer, my friends and I have been very into outdoor activities in Georgia. We have gone to many different parks such as Piedmont and Lullwater and hiking trails such as Stone Mountain. This past weekend we went to Vickery Creek Falls which is located in Roswell, Georgia.
We did some research before we arrived at the trail and they said that it would be a five mile loop. However, within about 20 minutes we actually saw the waterfall already. It was so spectacular. However, it was a bit difficult to actually go down to the very bottom of the falls as it was very steep.
In addition, the hike was very well shaded by the trees which made it the Georgia summer heat much more bearable. It was a bit muddy at times and there were some steep stairs. Overall, it was a very enjoyable hike and highly recommend. The trail was also very wide which made social-distancing easy.
