- Balancing work and fun
During college, there are so many things to keep in mind such as classes, your on-campus job, extracurriculars, and recruiting. However, it is so critical to make sure that you schedule time for fun as well to help destress. This could be like a weekly lunch with your friends, going off campus to a cafe, or a movie night. College is the best four years of your life and it will go by so fast!
2. Everything requires hard work
Whether it is college assignments or building relationships, everything requires hard work. Nothing is for free or comes without effort. In college, you often have to apply for clubs, compete for coveted job interviews, and still maintain good grades at the same time. It is important to prioritize and know which one requires the most effort.
3. Value personal growth
Each year of college, I have changed tremendously. The person I am now is vastly different from the person I was as a freshman. I am much more confident, independent and determined. I learned so much about myself and my abilities. This year, I really grew as a person since I changed my major and lived in an apartment for the first time. I also decided to start my own website to document my life experiences!
