Hidden Gems of Scottsdale

During the past 18 years of growing up in Scottsdale, Arizona, I have learned a lot about my hometown and all best places. While I have written some articles about the restaurant and cafe scene in Scottsdale, I have not talked a lot about the attractions. Here are just some of my favorites:

The Scottsdale Art Museum (SOMA) is an absolute must. It is located in Old Town Scottsdale. The first two pictures are of some of the exhibits that they have had before. It is the perfect place to go with your friends and take insta pictures. They even have free days once a week!

A few streets away from SOMA is Creamistry. This ice cream shop is unique because it specializes in nitrogen ice cream. My friend and I got the coffee and cream and the chocolate flavors. It was amazing!

My favorite dessert shop in all of Scottsdale and my #1 boba shop is Ruze Cake House. It is very difficult to find a decent boba shop near me but this place is superb. They serve prickly pear and rose tea with boba and decorate their drinks with cotton candy on top. I wish their sizes were bigger because I always finish my drinks so fast. Besides just drinks, they also have the most delicious macaroons. Some of the flavors I have tried include Circus Animal, Prickly Pear, Snickerdoodle, Salted Caramel and Birthday cake. I really want to try their watercolor flowers and cacti macaroons! The fourth picture above shows their super cute instagram worth sign. My friends and I love taking pictures with our drinks in our hands in front of this sign.

I hope you can check out these hidden gems of Scottsdale soon and fall in love with my hometown as much as I have!
