During Summer of 2018, I took my first solo trip to San Francisco. My uncle and his family live in San Francisco so I was able to explore the city with their help. Here are some of my favorites from this trip.
Pier 39 Cafe X Union Square Home SF Cafe
During my first day, I went to Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf. This is a very popular tourist destination as it has many famous restaurants that serve clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl. This is a signature San Francisco dish. I was so full after.
I loved watching the sea lions tan and relax under the sun. The sounds they made were so funny. I loved how lively Pier 39 was. It reminded me of an amusement park with so many kids running around holding cotton candy.
One of the coolest cafes I have ever been to in my entire life was at Cafe X in San Francisco. This robot pictured above served me coffee. All I had to do was order using the ipad screen and then the robot did everything. The quality of the latte wasn’t great but it was so worth the experience!
For dinner, I went to Union Square and had Cheesecake Factory. I loved the city view from Union Square.
I also loved the Home SF cafe. I remembered I walked about 40 minutes out of the way to get to this cafe. It served the most amazing rainbow latte I have ever seen in my entire life. It was so instagram-worthy. There was quite a long wait however.
See San Francisco Part 2!
