With the coronavirus situation becoming increasingly more serious, it is crucial that we take precautions and try to limit the spread as much as possible. One of the best practices is social distancing. Since flying back home a couple days ago, I have been staying at my house and trying to limit unnecessary physical contact with others. During this time, I have been trying to keep busy. Here are just some of my tips:
- Catch up/binge TV shows
Often times during the school year, I fall behind on my TV shows. Some of the shows I have been keeping up with include Brooklyn 99 and the Bachelor. There is nothing more relaxing than sitting on your bed wrapped up in blankets and just watching TV.
2. Go ahead on school work
Since my classes have all transitioned to online classes, I constantly have to be alert for updates and changes in curriculum. I am trying my best to go ahead in classes and not have gaps in my learning.
3. Learn a new skill
During my free time, I have been learning more about different beauty companies and which one offers the most natural and chemical free products. I have also been improving my photography skills and of course, writing more. I had previously taken a three month hiatus from writing from December to March to focus on my academics. However, I have rediscovered that writing is a stress reliever.
